Public Involvement Panel

At the heart of the project, a Public Involvement Panel (PIP) comprised of around 18 people representing local organisations involved in community wealth building (CWB) activities, such as not-for-profit organisations, social enterprises and small-to-medium businesses with fair employment schemes, will inform the design, delivery and dissemination of the research. The PIP will provide local insights from across the CWB pilot areas in Scotland including Clackmannanshire, North Ayrshire, Fife, Glasgow City Region, South of Scotland and the Western Isles.

The Panel will meet in-person approximately six times at key points during the 3-year duration of the project, at project locations across Scotland. The Panel will ensure that the project is shaped and informed by the expertise, experience, and perspective of local people, so that findings are meaningful and relevant to the real-world context of embedding CWB in different areas across Scotland. Throughout its duration, the Panel will contribute to decisions regarding recruitment approaches, data collection methods, analysis, and the interpretation of data and findings.
